Before jumping into UX/UI Design, I spent over a decade as a master stylist. I worked and taught at a prestigious salon before opening my business in 2015. The beauty industry taught me a ton – I gained expertise in customer experience, brand management, and the power of effective communication. I spent years working one-on-one with clients in the salon to determine their needs, design their look, and mastering the art of articulating design decisions.

When I decided to make a bold career move, I researched what career paths would focus on the things that light me up. I discovered UX design, and it ticked every box- starting with empathy and working with users to translate their needs into effective designs.
